Two clubs whose members always seem to be “on the move” are the Boys and Girls Varsity Clubs. Membership in both clubs increased this year. Girls Varsity Club members are responsible for cleaning up the stadium after football games, while the men man the fences. During the year, both clubs are involved in numerous fund-raising drives to pay for the June Block G Banquet. To be a member of either club, athletes must be a letter-winner in a varsity sport and pass nomination by other club members. This year Mrs. Whiting and Mr. Brooks served as advisors for the groups.
