Volunteers put in a great deal of lime planning the weekend and making preparations. The week before homecoming included Greasers' Day and Be Kind to Panthers Day. Some of the preparations are shown on the previous page. The parade was held Friday before the football game and included marching bands, floats. cheerleaders. alumnae, and dignitaries from the school system. The football game against Mynderse was a big night for the panthers who won by a score of 24-2. for anyone who dared to brave the rain and mud, it was a great game. A superb performance by the combined Geneva High-Mynderse marching bands made the evening a complete success. The weekend ended with a big dance at the G.H.S. gym. Overall, it was a weekend to be remembered. Student Council TOP PAGE 16: F. Pcdulla, B. Cram, F. Shields, J. Murphy, A. Atkinson, C. Alexander, S. Lawrence, A. Russell, D. Brown. C. Gibbons. P. As roses greet the dew; No other friends are dearer. Though born of kindred mold; And while we prize the new ones, We treasure more the old. There are no friends like old friends.
