Mr. Spurgeon B Wuertenherger. Principal What a special challenge it is for a class to be inaugurating a new decade of graduates! Especially when it is a decade which holds as much promise as this one. During your high school career you have shown unusual willingness to seek solutions even when some of these may have seemed to be conservative in the light of some of the more radical propaganda of the times. In all aspects of our school life you have been leaders and doers and I can think of no more fitting wish for your future than that you should all individually continue these characteristics. If you do. I can think of nothing better that could happen to our country. ADMINISTRATION To the Class of '70 1 pass on a favorite Indian maxim—“Observe the near sight and far vision.” Chart your course carefully; be alert to the details; but always have your mind, heart and eyes 'looking ahead’ to ever progressive goals of service and achievement. 7a-£- Miss Helen P. Maney, Vice-Principal
