ADMINISTRATORS Mr. Spurgeon B. Wuertenberger Principal As you go down in history, I suspect you will be called the class of the great transition since in your junior and senior years you went through this massive rebuilding program. It would have been wonderful if it could have been entirely finished for your senior year. The best we can offer you is an invitation to return when you have the opportunity and vicariously share the benefits that will accrue to future generations of students. There is, of course, another “First” in your high school experience. That is the one represented by our very fine book, the Seneca Saga of 1967, which represents the first of what I trust will be a long series of fine senior high school yearbooks. As I write this some weeks before publication, word is already coming in of the excellent college admissions record which the Class of ’67 is establishing. I am sure that those who are training in business and commercial skills will make just as enviable a mark. Allow me, then, to extend to you my warmest wishes for your continued success in the years to come. To the Senior Class of 1967, congratulations! Although this has been a year of building with bricks, cement, metal, and wood, more than just new additions have been added to our school. You, your parents, and teachers have been helping to gradually produce a most cherished possession: knowledge and health. We are trying to create in your character honesty, courtesy, and a graceful acceptance of results. If you learn these traits well, you will be an asset to your community, to your future business or profession, and to your nation. In years to come, we know you will be proud to return to your Alma Mater. 8 Mr. Harold A. Bonesteel Vice-principal
