'po'tetvo'uC Centuries ago man drew simple pictures with a stick to record his doings. Years ago the Indian left the legends of his life. This year we of the Senior Class have compiled our history, using tlie tools of today. Our “Seneca Saga” is the story of a group of one hundred thirty-six who have gone to classes and to games, to plays and dances. We have a varied history to relate through the pictures which follow. Our newspaper throughout the year has carried the stories of the groups who appear in pictures. This year we have a new section in which we have tried to give in pictures a school day as lived by the seniors. Mr. Adams, the photographer, went from class to class taking pictures of us in our usual places from 8:45 to 2:30. We hope you will find that it recalls memories. We know that the other pictures will. We have tried to give you a complete picture of the doings of this year of the Class of ’53. We hope you like what the committees have assembled. The theme of this year’s “Seneca Saga” is the story of our class, the saga of our four years in school. We thank Alice Whiting for her drawings which express so well the story of the Indians who also learned and played games in this region. As we leave Geneva High School to begin our careers there are some others who are also leaving. They are not students but rather the teachers who are ending their teaching careers. These arc the people whom we have come to know as friends always ready with a helping hand. The Class of ’53 wishes to salute these teachers and thank them for a job well done. As editor of the “Seneca Saga” and on behalf of the class I wish to thank Miss White for her assistance. As chief adviser, she has given unselfishly of her time and energy to make the annual a success. 1 should also like to thank our other two advisers—Mr. Cuony, adviser of Senior Notes and Mr. Epley, adviser to the Business Stall', who have done a splendid job. We appreciate the interest of the Almarco Printing Co. The Editor.
