SENIOR PROPHECY In 1973 Kathy is sitting on the beach wondering what the rest of the Class of ' 63 has been doing when her husband, Captain Lynn Hall appears carrying a letter from her former classmate, Ann Gillespie. The letter states that Ann has a teaching job in the New Adams County Consolidated School. Ann and her husband are moving into their new home this week. She also tells Kathy about the rest of the Class of ' 63. Brenda has just celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary, an event which was quite an interest-getter because of the presence of her five sets of identical twin boys. Joyce has her R.N. degree and has received a medal for bravery during a conflict in Africa where she met her husband--a five-star general! Arnie is doing fine work as a professor of Agriculture at Purdue University. His speciality is vegetable judging. Bob has done quite well for himself as a professional football player with the Browns. In the athletic field also Kathy learned that Glen is now managing the New York Yankees with Jim Walker as star pitcher. Sally is working as private secretary for her husband, a Franklin Electric executive, who owns a five hundred acre estate. Jean Nevil, a famous New York fashion designer, is in the process of creating a beautiful wedding gown for her first grade teacher, Miss Fravel. Oh, by the way, Ruthann is taking Miss Fravel ' s place. Now, here is some spectacular news! Larry We,bb, a West Point graduate, is running for the Presidency of the U.S. with Eric Sprunger as his running mate. Kathy was surprised to learn that Tom Hirschy is assisting Mr. Hanni as the Govern- ment teacher. Dick Hanni is married and is one of his father ' s greatest competitors in the plumb- ing business. Susie is married and has the tiring job as guidance counselor at Adams County Con- solidated School. In the entertainment world Judy Caffee has her own television show with Teri-Ann as her singing star. On Broadway Marvin has made quite a smash. They call him Blondie. Bill Hawbaker is the sole owner of a one thousand acre ranch and has just announced his forth-coming marriage. Tom Ludy is a private eye for the FBI. Jim Bisel is managing The Crusher, who is no other than Jeff Striker! Jean B. and Sharon are touring the world in the Wacs--lucky girls! Back on the home front, Joan is married to an implement dealer and has three adorable daughters. Ted Toland is operating the successful new golf course in Berne. Calvin and David are making quite a fortune as dealers in car imports. In conclusion Ann informed Kathy that Wanda is married and has fifty children! (She is a matron of an Orphanage). 18
