That is the question. What should be done about them? That is the problem. When Papa Maxwell was elected head of the citizen's com- mittee, because he had one of the Hnest and most up- standing families in the en- tire community, everything should have been fine. But the girls have to complicate the matter with some JUST DUCKY letters, filled with pathos and deep heart throbs. Their masterpiece was mailed, but was not published by the newspa- per columnist. I n s t e a d , during a personal call, Miss Blayne unfolds the tragic story to Mamma Maxwell. From there things reach one of the most feverish pitches ever experienced, in fiction or in real life. ln fact the whole family seems nuts-including Papa him- self,-until the whole tan- gled story unfolds, with a very happy ending.

IUNIOR CLASS PLAY PECK'S BAD BOY March 31, 1950 Henry Peck Sr. Henry Peck Jr. Mrs. Hannah Peck Jimmy Duffy - Minnie - - Luella Thorne - Clifford Jennings Melville Beaumont Lizzie - - Dahlia - - Schultz - Dora - Flora - Lora CAST SYNOPSIS Roger Coon Tom Weaver Evelyn Snow Gerald Nevil Gloria Lybarger Dorothy Farlow Lee Haines - Don Call Rita Robinson Kathleen Veach Bob Meyer Geraldine Nevil Helen Morningstar Laura Billington The play takes place in a handsomely furnished home. Henry Peck Sr., is bossed and hen-peeked throughout the play by Hannah Thorne, his wife, whom he married for money, which she didn't have. Mrs. Thorne has control over everyone but Henry Peck Jr., his pal Jimmy Duffy, and Henry's girl friend, Minnie, who really keep things mov- ing in this three-act farce comedy. Both Clifford Jennings and Melville Beaumont wish to marry Luella, Mrs. Thorne's daughter, and they try different methods of winning her mother's approval. Dora, Flora, and Lora, the Harmony sisters, who are Clifford Jen- ning's, Melville Beaumont's and Henry Peck's, old girl friends also provide many tense moments for the three men. The antics of Lizzie, the maid, Dahlia, the colored cook, and Shultz, the grocer afford much laughter. At the conclusion of the play the worm has turned. Henry Peck Sr. gains control of his wife and Clifford Jennings Wins Luella's hand. Thirty-three
