As some of these wins required courage, aggressiveness, and good co-operation, the school is proud of this record. Some of the games lost were extremely close and hard to lose, especially the sectional game with Decatur Catholic, but We are proud of the fighting spirit the team displayed and thesportsmanship record of the school. To the seniors, Tom, Bob, and Max who are leaving the team this year, we say, Thanks and good luck in the game of life. To the team next year the Class of '50 ex- tends their best wishes for a successful season. The students and faculty heartily approved the presentation of the sportsmanship trophy to Tom Robinson, and the foul-shooting award to Tom Weaver, who won with a .574 percentage of hits under competition. Congratulations Tom and Tom!!! Twenty-eight
