ODDS AND ENDS Our Teachers Since we have worked? and slaved?'? for the last four years just to please the whims of our teachers, we feel that it is only fair to us that we use this space entirely for poking fun at a few of our teachers. We are sure they are good sports Qwe hopej and will not take any offense at what is said. Our first hope is that some benevolent benefactor fbig words and we're only seventeen years oldj will contribute some sort of hammer, whether it be one of the tack variety or an eight pound Sledge, to Miss Aspy so that she may obtain order in the assembly without pounding her keys to pieces on the radiators. Since Miss Jackson gets along so well with boys we hope that all her future pupils will be boys as handsome!! and as intelligent?? as those Seniors in her trig class. As advice to future chemistry students we might suggest that they do not attempt to mix up Miss Pfeiffer during class because at times she is very easily mortified. Mrs. Owenls method of directing the choir seems to bring fine results but we think it is due more to the threatening way which she waves her arms than anything else. The teachers who are not mentioned should not feel slighted but they should not feel flattered either. Ten

Miss Anna K. Wil- liams was chosen as our sponsor. Our class officers were as follows: Bill Hale, Presidentg Louise Neuenschwander, Vice Presidentg Kenneth Van Emon, Secretaryg Don Snow, Treasurerg and Robert Cook, Reporter. During the year two parties were held, a Hallowe'en party at the home of Nell Af- folder, and a hayride party at the home of Juanita Seilschott. Thirty-one were in our Sophomore class. Our class officers for the year were: Louise Neuenschwander. Presidentg Ella Amstutz, Vice Presidentg Dolores Springer, Secretaryg and Eula Burk, Treasurer. A Hallowe'en party was held at Milton Mi1ler's t'Haunted Housef' and a skating party was held at Sunset Rink at Decatur. There were only twenty-four of us when we entered the Junior year. Miss Williams had left Geneva High Schoolg therefore, Mr. Hunt was chosen for our sponsor. Our of- ficers for the year were as follows: Kenneth Van Emon, Presidentg Robert Cook, Vice Presidentg Eula Burk, Secretaryg and Louise Neuenschwander, Treasurer. Among the highlights of the year was a fall party in Nell Affolder's woods, and a Spring party at the skating rink. We had a Christmas exchange, received our class rings and operated the candy stand. MAMA,S BABY BOY, our Junior Class Play, was given October 24. In April, we en- tertained the Seniors of the Class of '45 as our guests at the Junior-Senior Reception held in the gym. The Senior class consists of 10 girls and 13 boys. The oflicers for the year are: Robert Cook, Presidentg John Lynn Penrod, Vice Presidentg Kenneth Van Emon, Secretaryg and Eula Burk, Treasurer. The Annual Staff was chosen early this fall. The class held a Hobo Party at the home of Eula Burk. We gave our class play, HILARITY HOUSE, on March 15. We are looking forward to our graduation exercises in April. Twelve
