We, 7fze Seniau . Nell Affolder so bright and gay. Is never too busy to be going your way: She is fond of a soldierg you know who. But it seems she must wait for him the next year through. Ella Amstutz so happy and gay. Very seldom is without anything to say: She tackles things without a fear, But somehow from them always seems to steer clear. Gerald Buckey who is never sad, But in the assembly is sometimes bad: It would fill most any girl with joy. To be in the company of this glamourous boy. Eula Burk has nice long hair, Yet, she never seems to give a care: She's very gay and loves to tease. But still she never fails to please. Charlotte Chew has deep brown eyes, And a smile as bright as the skies: She almost always has an innocent look, But prefers love stories to any book. Robert Cook, the main stay of our team, Usually starts off with plenty of steam: He's very healthy and energetic, too. He has a personality that helps carry him through. Kenneth Ellenberger who is good at missing school, Is always ready to play a game of pool: Out toward Jefferson he wends his way, Though just why. we cannot say. Arthur Ford sometimes called Art, He and Eugene never seem to part: With bright gray eyes and a friendly grin. You'd never expect to see him thin. Bill Hale, over six feet tall, He'll never flop in basketballg He studies hard in chemistry and trig, But still finds time for Peg. Melvin Hart who is mischievous in class. Is fond of a certain Junior lass: When You hear some people laughing in the hall. You'll know he is the leader of them all. David Hofstetter so bashful and shy, Will overcome his shyness of girls by and byg His personality is very rare, Because he is always on the square. Ernestine and Ernesta Hofstetter the Senior twins, Seem always to make their winsg They are fond of a couple of boys. you know who, Cause they dream the whole day through. Louise Neuenschwander who is very fair, With soft and curling medium blonde hair: She's a trifle timid and shy. But she has a smile for everyone passing by. John Lynn Penrod, sometimes called Pop, When it comes to getting girls, he's hard to top: He's tall, fair and handsome. Like's to go to Decatur to do his romancing. Mary Pusey, though quite tall, Really isn't very big at all: She is very capable and smart. They say she's been that way right from the start. Eugene Robinson who likes to drive to school, Can't be made anybody's fool: He has a goughish grin that he'll display If by chance you smile his way. Juanita Seilschott. always gay and never sad. Is fond of a certain lad: She loves to laugh and is loads of full, And always is there when work is to be done. Pud Smith, quite a sport, Has a girl in every port: Works his bookkeeping till his head goes round about, Says you'll get it if you work your problems out. Donald Snow. six feet tall, He too plays basketball: In class he is very bright, And on the other hand, most always right. Miriam Sprunger the peach of our eye, Really would make a good girl for some guy: But of all the boys she is very shy. She could get one though if she would try. Clifford Umpleby, who in class has lots to say, Studies hard from day to day: Though to many girls he is a pain, But in his world of business should have many gains. Kenneth Van Emon, so muscular and strong, On a farm he seems to belong: They say he's a classroom sage. Cause he reads his Caesar page by page. -Unknown. Nineteen
