Larry Brackin is called on to make a crucial decision. Smile girls, everybody’s looking! 19 20 Mike owns ihe only ’motorcycle built for five.' What does it mean to be a Senior? Somehow I can't bring myself to reality to answer the question. I’m caught between adolescence and maturity, and I hold the key to my success. As a rookie I never gave it much thought. Most of my time was spent on fighting for lunch tables and losing my voice at football games. I always managed to stumble into a corner and wished for the confidence to get out. I've made many new friends this year, but now each must go a separate way. Perhaps in the future our paths will cross. This year has caused me to look inside the cobwebs and dust off the knowledge that has led me this far. Yes, I'm scared. But there is a whole new door waiting to be opened and maybe it's just the beginning. I'll pass through the door, and never look back, but the memories will linger on. I'm glad to say that the majority of them are happy, and each has helped me through the year. Being a Senior ft a special feeling, I only hope that the people that gave me these feelings can be as proud and optimistic of me, as I am of them . . . The Senior Special THE ENDS Greg finds the only solution to getting through the crowded halls. 21 EDUCATORS and 23 EDUCATED. . . To make sure they could capably support the Bulldogs, each of them attended a cheerleader clinic at Auburn during the summer. The Bulldogs were impressed with the spirit the cheerleaders aroused during the Pep Rallies and also during the games. The cheerleader Sponsor, Norma Galloway, helped these girls prepare for each game. Much appreciation is due to these girls for their participation. We're behind you. Bulldogs! Gay had much rather ride than walk!! Seniors realize their last game is almost over. 81 JUNIOR HIGH CHEERLEADERS The Junnior High Cheerleaders supported the Junior Bulldogs throughout the 1976 season. Even though each girl was new in supporting the Bulldogs as cheerleaders, they never failed their team. Not only was this a new experience for the girls, but also a new experience for their sponsor, Norma Galloway. This was her first year as head of the cheerleaders. This group of Junior High Cheerleaders and their sponsor had a very successful year. Donna Davis, Sharon Lunsford, DeAnn Smith, Deborah Peterson, Janet Frederick, and Lisa Lindsey 82 BULLDOGS CONQUER WARRIORS The Geneva County High School Bulldogs, experiencing a great year, took on the Dale County Warriors as their opponent in the Homecoming Game. The Bulldogs were backed completely by the Hartford fans. The weather was beautiful and everyone was excited, especially the Seniors. Even though the Seniors will never feel the same at the Homecomings in the future, they were deeply emotional and optimistic throughout the game. The Bulldogs pulled off a great victory. This magic moment, shared by all, will never be forgotten. 84 85 Three times he raised his arms. Three times the Bulldogs scored. The crowd backed the Bulldogs all the way! Many types of vehicles participated in the parade. The Cheerleaders never stopped yelling. Even after the victory was won, you could still hear them cheering. 1 Smile Kecia 86 Miss Hartford really doesn't trust the driver of her car.
