DR. H. MATTSSON-BOZE We of the GENE VAN staff wish to dedicate the 1968 GENE VAN to Dr. Howard Mattsson-Boze. For over a decade he has fulfilled his professional duties as professor of history and is presentbr serving as chairman of the history department Dr. Mattsson-Boze participates enthusiasticalbr in both academic activities as well as the extra-curricular activities on campus. As a professional educator, Dr. Mattsson-Boze possesses a thorough knowledge of his subject and displays a genuine interest in it. In his lecture sessions his dynamic, personal magnetism captivates the attention of all his students. In his discussion groups the issue at hand comes alive as each student is given the opportunity to express his opinion. To many students Dr: Mattsson-Boze is more than just an instructor. He is always willing to help anyone who seeks advice, whether it be academic or personal. Often, his home is the scene of in formal gatherings among the students. Dr. Mattsson-Boze is married and is the father of four children. In addition to his duties at the college, he teaches Sunday School at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Geneva College is honored to have Dr. Howard Mattsson-Boze as a member of its college famibr.
