Have you ever stopped to think to what ex- tent you were learning error on any given day? A moment's reflection on this question brings to mind thoughts concerning the explosive rate at which the frontiers of knowledge are being ex- tended in certain iields, and a realization of how transitory our concept of truth is at any given time. This is graphically illustrated by the re- cent tremendous advances being made in the physical sciences. As someone has remarked, 'lWe daily bear witness to the 'premature advent of the 25th centuryf 7' Why do I mention this to a graduating class? Because it illustrates dramatically the truth of the statement that education must not stop when one finishes college. Learning must be a lifelong process if one is to make a living-and make a life. Although there are many '4truths which are ephemeral, fortunately there are certain truths which are eternal. During your years at Geneva, we hope that your knowledge and love has increased for Him who said, I am the Truth. We trust that as you graduate and as- sume additional responsibilities, you will seek first to serve Him. May your lives be rich and rewarding G'Pro Christo et Patriaf' Then come Geneva sons, ne'er let the glad chorus fail . . .
