Administrative Staff As busy as Broadway and almost as in- volved-or so it seems to the student seek- ing a change of schedule. These offices might Well be called the mainspring that keeps the old College clock ticking through the year. Public Relations mean far more than publicity. From these crowded and busy offices come our College bulletins and pamphlets. Here are written letters to twelve thousand alumni, as Well as the regular contacts with radio, and the press releases. Hundreds of schedules to check, grades IVS quite reasonable to suspect the to record, and myriad transcripts to pre- pare and mail, all are among the Work of the registrar's office. Here all our prob- lems receive careful attention. Seated is the Registrar, Miss Lulu McKinney, and standing are Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Henery, assistants to the Registrar, and Miss Van Arsdale, secretary to the Registrar. Facing the problems of business man- ager for the College is Mr. Stewart Mc- Cready. Not only must he provide for the payment of bills and necessary purchasing, but he also serves as Alumni Treasurer. Behind the many labors to clean the grounds and care for the campus buildings stands Mr. Robert Hemphill, head of the department of maintenance. Brig of some responsibility for a number of marks in the cut-book. That coke or cup of coffee tastes better at class time. So not only for noon hamburgers but all day long students gather in the good fellow- ship of the Brig . Shown with Paul Robb, student manager, is Mrs. Seaman, man- ager of the Brig .
