EDWIN CAMEll0N CLARKE The freshly hewn stone, the steel, and the workmen form the picture of the Men's Memorial Dormitory to most observers. Though few recognize his presence, the shadow of Edwin Clarke outlines this por- trait of industry and growth. Only by his direction and work have the funds been raised that make possible the fulfillment of this dream of progress. The world of vision and the World of deeds stand together in the labors of Dr. Clarke, for it is he who must plan, and materialize these plans Within the framework of the ideals and needs of Gen- eva College. It is difficult to perceive the work of unseen hands in the buildings that rise about us. With the deepest appreciation for this unseen and constant labor of Dr. Ed- win C. Clarke, we dedicate to him the GEN- EVAN of 1952.
