Snliflv. The job of being house president, especially of a large house, is not an easy one. If you don't believe it, try it sometime. The House Presidents Federation is an organ- ization composed of the presidents of all the houses. They meet every two weeks to discuss mutual problems and to try to settle these problems. The federation makes plans for better lighting, heating, and room arrangement in the respective houses. The house presidents themselves are go-betweensu for the administration and the heads of the rooming houses. The organization elects oflicers in the beginning of the school year who stay in olliee until june. The main activities which the federation sponsors are open house and the entertainment of the house mothers. Open house was especially successful this year. ln some houses faculty members were entertained at formal dinners and l Q l 'nin in socitl living fuided as it is Ea afterward shown around the iouses. euci trai g 5 z g, by the organization, has resulted in so many adjustments through cooperation that the girls have been enabled to live together more comfortably and happily.
