In both class A and B, the teams were so evenly matched that the regular season ended with a tie. The Geneseo High School Basketball Team under the supervision of Coach Higgins completed the season in a tie for first place in class A. In the playoff our team lost by one point, a clean hard-fought game. In spite of the fact that the actual score left our boys behind in the race for the Championship, nevertheless that deserved a big hand for the way they played throughout the season. 31

Under the able direction of Coach Higgins a team was formed of veterans and a few recruits that the Geneseo High School can well be proud. For a lightweight team our boys had a remarkable record. Their strong ollensive power can best be illustrated by figures showing that they scored noi points while their opposition scored only 71 against them. It is with pride that we refer to the game with Greigsville. This victory is the lirst in live years. This victory alone would have made the season a success. go

This year's team has all but one of last years players and has many valuable additions.
