Mclntyre Eugene Smith llohn Spratt PI 'RPO.Silf-The function of the student Council is to unite all student organiza- tions under one control in order to aid in the internal administration of the school and foster sentiment of law and order. lt aims to promote the general activity ofthe school, and in all cases to promote the best interests and ideals ofthe school. Lastly it endeavors to develop in the student a growing appreciation of membership in a democracy by providing the educative responsibilities and privileges of participating in such a democracy in thelschool. ACCIM1 l'l.l.S'HM liNT.S'AThe Council during this lirst year of its organization has accomplished many of its aims. Conflicts between the activities of the dillerent organizations have been prevented. The marching of the student body into the assembly is regulated by the Council. lt has promoted many extra activities including dances which were given in the gymnasium. 14

The members of the stall' feel that their ellorts have been rewarded. They have worked tirelessly and are very happy with the results of their work. Although the cover of the annual is entirely dillierent than heretofore, the book has lost none of its beauty.
