Our highest aim is to do the best we can through our four high school years in order to get every thing possible from our classes and activities. When the first shyness had worn oil' we entered immediately into all the activities. We are well represented in the band, orchestra, and glee club, and are very active in all the sports. The first wonders of high school lessened and we settled down to steady work, inspired on by the beauties of our new building. We are very proud of our Alma Mater and strive to uphold her traditions so that when we are Seniors we can look back without regret upon our Freshman year. ll

Mclntyre Eugene Smith llohn Spratt PI 'RPO.Silf-The function of the student Council is to unite all student organiza- tions under one control in order to aid in the internal administration of the school and foster sentiment of law and order. lt aims to promote the general activity ofthe school, and in all cases to promote the best interests and ideals ofthe school. Lastly it endeavors to develop in the student a growing appreciation of membership in a democracy by providing the educative responsibilities and privileges of participating in such a democracy in thelschool. ACCIM1 l'l.l.S'HM liNT.S'AThe Council during this lirst year of its organization has accomplished many of its aims. Conflicts between the activities of the dillerent organizations have been prevented. The marching of the student body into the assembly is regulated by the Council. lt has promoted many extra activities including dances which were given in the gymnasium. 14
