At last we have climbed another step in our high school career, So far we have maintained as high standards as any previous class, and we are gradually striving to surpass former classes. ln the various activities during the school year, facts show that we excel in indi- viduality and ability. Juniors throng the Glee Club, the French and Latin Clubs, Orchestra and Band. The athletic teams are composed, to a large extent, of juniors. Three ofthe live on the varsity basketball team are Juniors. The ollicers of the class of '33 are: President, Douglas McCaugheyg Secretary, Ann Mincklerg Treasurer, Robert Wadeg Class Adviser, Mrs. U'Donnell. Edward Roberts was President until January when he became a Senior. Next year, as Seniors, we hope for greater laurels than have already been attained by our former ellorts. 10

Triumphantly, we, the class of 1936, are nearing the era in our student life when we are no longer looked down upon as underclassmen. While we eagerly look forward to the coming years of our student life, we look back with pleasure on our past record! In the field of athletics, the Sophomore class has shown its ability to do worthy work. We went into the interclass basketball meets with grim determination, but the experience of the Seniors was too much for us, and although our boys put up a fight, success was not to be ours. ln the Band, Orchestra, and Glee Club we have made a very creditable showing, and we are ably represented in the Student Council. Thus far our class has been fairly successful and our hopes are bright for the future. We expect to increase our prominence in the history of Geneseo High School and to contribute considerably to its welfare. lf we can accomplish even a little in these directions, we shall be still more justifiably proud of the class of '1,6. 2.1
