Lapp, Row Three: J. Lanzone, A. Tenebruso, V. West, D. Bugenhagen. French Club The French Club was formed this year under the guidance of Mrs. M. Peter and Mr. A. Bakkalcioglu. For the first year the members have been engaged in some fund-raising activities including a Christmas tree sale, two bake sales, and a raflie. During the past year for the benefit of students and faculty, there were four French exhibits displayed for their viewing. Also, Mrs. James Mead, of Oakfield, New York, was a guest speaker who showed her slides of Paris. Last fall, a number of students journeyed to Buffalo State Teachers College to witness Moliere's plays Tartuyjf which was dramatized French and also saw School for Wives at the Studio-Arena theatre in Buffalo. To add to a French atmosphere, a buffet luncheon was served in the lounge for the student body.
