Mr. Cowing is one of the men to whom G. M. T. E. owes its existence. Assistant Director of the Institute for twenty years, he has devoted much of his time and efforts to the development of our organization. In the past year Mr. Cow- ing has been engaged in a study of the prob- lems that have arisen in connection with the extensive army training program recently in- augurated at Tech.
