MR. Joseph McDonald A smile, a pleasant word, a true regard for MacArthur students— these are the characteristics of our Assistant Principal, Mr. McDonald. His concern for MacArthur's repu- tation has played an important part in establishing a fine name for our school. He is striving constantly not only to uphold but also to ex- ceed this fine reputation. MacArthur students are well aware of Mr. Mc- Donald's interest in them and hold him in high regard. Cooperation between Mr. McDonald and Mr. Grant has been essential in en- abling our students to derive the most from school at MacArthur. MR. ROBERT ENDERLE With his friendly disposition, it is easy to see why our Assistant Prin- cipal, Mr. Enderle, gets along so well with the students. He possesses a frankness in his attitude which allows the students to realize that they are his prime concern. Mr. En- derle's dedication to MacArthur- ites is returned by the students' high opinion of him. The adminis- trative team at the head of our school—Mr. Enderle, Mr. McDonald and Mr. Grant—has helped maintain the spirit of enthusiasm on the part of the students toward school activ- ities. 8

At the 1962 Sports Award Night, Mr. Grant and Mr. Blumberg were there with Mr. LaPolla and Mr. Vagts. Our Principal and Superintendent are al- ways on hand at such occasions to praise deserving students. Mr. Blumberg is on hand to give support to our Generals. MRS. C. HARAHAN As Mr. Grant's secretary, Mrs. C. Harahan Is kept busy with her du- ties. She is constantly engaged in behind the scenes work necessary in the administration of our school. Her personal dedication to the many and varied activities of the principal's office is recognized by the class of 1966. MRS. L ALDROVANDI Mrs. L. Aldrovandi, our Superinten- dent's active personal secretary, enjoys her work a great deal. Knowing that she is an essential person in our district, she under- takes each new endeavor with en- thusiasm and pride. On several oc- casions, Mrs. Aldrovandi has helped even the editors and ad- viser of The Commander, who hold her in high esteem. No phase of work in our school district escapes her attention and interest, and this is to the credit of the Superinten- dent's office. 9
