From birth to death, we strive to unlock the secret of our world. At first our efforts are feeble and undisciplined, but through experience and education, we become more capable of coping with high-walled obstacles that face us. Our increased comprehension of life's phe- nomena enables us to shape these barriers into doors that open onto new vistas of understanding. Our years in school are vitally important for the development of our character and our minds. Our senior year marks the culmination of the first stage of our education. Regardless of what we do after gradu- ation, we will have bridged a crucial gap in life. There is no turning back, the world is upon us, and we must face it, and wrestle with it. We have left behind a part of ourselves, behind the walls of school and home, but we have gained a new facet to our being, a new ma- turity and insight.
