The second graders made great achievement in phonetics and many visitors came to see them at work. Both grades planned a spring trip to the zoo at Prairie Du Chien with their teacher, MISS RUTH GORMAN. V l.. Grades 3 and 4, with their teacher, MRS. MAGDA OLSON, had an interest- ing study of Your Town and Mine. Field trips to the post office, the lumber yard, the Independent Press, and the telephone office were taken. Interesting comparisons of business places, kinds of work, kinds of recrea- tion, and other topics were made. A harmony band and folk dancing added variety and interest to our music and physical education program.
