President: Will Wright Vice President: Bob King Secretary: Margaret Sherwood Treasurer: Nancy Warner Meeting every other Tuesday during the school year the Gaylord High School Student Council is responsible for all student sponsored activities. initiating a. student bank in November, 1957, members of the council saw their project grow to state-wide recognition. The bank early this year saw over 200 students deposit over S3,000. In March the members of the senior class withdrew 5769.13 to place in their class treasury for their senior trip. Other classes continue to deposit money regularly for future senior trips. The council also is responsible for establishing student projects. Two council projects for the year included a candy sale in the fall and sale of district tournament programs in March. Money raised by the council is used to sponsor a Christmas party.
