Us ouvenir of Memorie Before closing the Echo , may we the class of '57, give thanks for the privilege of an incomparable education. To the teachers who through the years endeavored to construe their knowledge, encouragement and patience. Let us not forget to mention Mr. Henry Smith, our school principal and Journalism advisor. We, the editor and assistant editor wish to thank him personally for the help and co-operation received in preparing the material for the treasured contents here in. We take this opportunity to thank the merchants who contributed so generously with their advertisements. Let's give a big cheer for our athletic coaches, Mr. Mongeau and Mr. Burnison for their technique and leadership in the sports we all enjoyed. Not last nor least shall we forget our school band and Mr. Scheerhorn. Music instructor and band leader. Personally I think we can commit ourselves by saying we have a school band worth crowing about . We wish to take this opportunity also to thank Duane Thompson for his generosity in contributing his talents in taking pictures for our '57 Echo . Also Larry Ostrander for his contribution of talent in the Mock Elections. ln answer to the question, we think you both did a splendid job and it merits our praise. Editing the yearbook was an unusual and exciting experience.
