he AThenians look To Mr. Wheeler for piTch and sound. Thespians And AThenians The Thespians have been a very successful club This year. They have puT on ACT-o-Grams, parTicipaTed in musicals and also in plays. Lisa Robison said, I was very pleased wiTh The AcT- o-Grams. I Think aT leasT parT of The school knows who we are now. AcT- o-Grams were singing Telegrams deliv- ered To sTudenTs and Teachers. They were senT from sTudenTs and The Tele- grams could be personalized or ge- neric. The Thespians were also really ex- ciTed abouT The TalenT show. They helped To puT The show on. Lisa Robi- son said, A loT of people really goT involved and made The show a suc- cess. The Oly awards were a big parT of The Thespians club. The Oly award was given To acTors and acTresses for The lvlosT Improved, lvlosT TalenTed, BesT Overall, eTc. There were plenTy of Tal- enTed acTors and acTresses compeT- ing for The awards This year. AThenians was a class ThaT operaTed as a club. This was The firsT year ThaT people could join and geT a crediT for fine arTs. The small voice ensemble mosTly sang madrigals, which is music ThaT originaTed in lATh CenTury lTaly. The songs are usually Three or four parT po- ems puT To music and someTimes sung acapella. AThenians also sang classics, pop, and jazz music. They dressed up for Their performances in black Tux- edos and pink formals.
