There was a varieTy of people who joined, which made iT easy To meeT new friends. The reason for The greaT TurnouT, says Sr. PaTTy Galloway, More people realized ThaT you don'T have To be a good skier To join The Ski Club. The Ski Club Tried To have a ski Trip aT leasT once a week. AbouT 45 To 20 people wenT on a Trip. This was because The Ski Club wenT up on The bus wiTh oTher Ski Clubs from Aurora schools. A member usually wenT on abouT 3 or L1 ski Trips during The season. The club sponsored abouT 40 ski Trips This season. A ski Trip, on an average, would cosT around S211.00, which includ- ed a lifT TickeT and a bus ride up To The ski resorT. The overnighTer, which was The largesT Turnouf, was S8500 per person. As a money making projecT, The Ski Club sold designer sunglasses. For each pair of sunglasses a person sold, They received money To go Towards a ski Trip. lvlosT people who earned money, used The money for The overnighTer. The club officers included, PaTTy Galloway-PresidenT, Brian Wil- son-Vice PresidenT, Lisa Zwerdlinger-Treasurer, Liaa Howe-Secre- Tary, and Darrin Turrbough as Club RepresenTaTive.
