Foreign Language The Spanish Club has done excep- Tionally well according To Mrs. Kohler. There are approximafely 23 sTudenTs in The club. Some of The acTiviTies have includ- ed going To The arT museum for The Mexican arT exhibiT, having breakfasf aT Mexican resTauranTs, seeing movies, and having a BBQ. The Spanish Club also aponsored a ChrisTmas parTy. This year for The Spanish Club fund raiser, The members sold various Types of candies. The sales wenT really well. Mrs. Kohler said ThaT They would have done beTTer if They hadn'T run ouT of candy. NexT year The Spanish Club hopes To do well and They are looking forward To new members. WiTh Gina Park as Presidenf, Alicia Jordan as Vice Presidenf, Cindy Thom- as as SecreTary, Mary Coleman as Treasurer, and Ha Giang as HisTorian The French Club has been busy wiTh many acTiviTies. To sTarT ouT The year, The club sold M8cM's. WiTh The money from The can- dy They made donaTions To The Make- A-Wish FoundaTlon and The Childrens HospiTal. For The resT of The year, The club planned The 'lThree Kings cele- braTion, Mardi Gras parTy, a French film aT The Denver CenTer Cinema, visiTed a nursing home and had a banquef aT a french resTauranT. ATTendance This year has been hurT because The club had To meeT before school and many members did noT have TransporTaTion.
