lvlarching Band-A Success Through The pasT year, we all did a number of Things To keep ourselves busy. One of many, was To go' To a fooTball game. No maTTer if iT was jusT once or if we aTTended every home game we could always be enTer- Tained aT half Time by The Marching Band. ln The Marching Band, There is a special group of people. This years group was all girls. These girls were called The Drill Team. There were over 45 girls ThroughouT The year ThaT were a parT of This unique group. Two very imporTanT members were Paula Price, who was CapT. of The flag squad and Tina Capra, who was CapT. of The rifle squad. These girls along wiTh The resT of The Team worked very hard To keep us enTer- Tained. AlThough, The pasT years The drill Team has been consisTed of all girls iT's noT only meanT for Them. Anyone who has The abiliTy and willingness can become a member. NeverThe- less, once you have become a mem- ber you musT be dedicaTed and will- ing To be an enTerTainer.
