Hackers Get Practice In Computer Lab Computer club has been at Gateway for two years now. They have 15 active members that meet the first Tuesday of every month. They would have met more often but the school schedule caused problems. The purpose of the club is to get students together who had a common interest to share ideas and work together on common projects and learn to use the computer for a career, said sponsor Kevin Morgan. The co-sponsor was Betty Huffman. The president of the club was Jr. Michael Ryan and the vice president was also a junior, Lisa Prok. The secretary was Jr. Chris Justice and the treasurer was Sr. Jimmy Chung. The club was educational and a good experience be- cause it helped students to use their own minds to grow intellectually. Next year, back at Gateway, they hope to have more computers to work with. Also, they hope to have more fund raising candy sales to buy equipment that the school board won't buy. Mr. Hill looks on as Dixon Jones works on graphics. Naoko Sudo gets stumped by a syntax error. QB Clubs Tim Lineham took basic computer programming one Sr. Kent Cottle tries a forfnext loop.
