.lla i I .i1 Ccontinued from page 2433 Our classes bonded together when the issue of losing our school mascot came up. We stayed together and with the help of the media coverage kept our school mascot and name. The olympic commit- tee felt we were hurting no one by using it, and generously allowed us to keep it until I986. As the year went on, our schedules be- came more crowed with many activities such as the Renaissancre Festival, the Olympics, the Prom, Senior week, and all the activities associated with the end of school. Towards the middle of May we slowed down and realized this had been a great and fast year. lt seemed like just last week we were frolicking in the leaves and bundling up for Friday night football games. The Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors looked forward to the upcoming summer, and then to the new school year, already planning on being the very best. The Seniors kept busy with the Com- mencement and Baccularete plans, and all their crazy Senior activites. They were anxious for graduation, but regretted leaving behind all their friends, and the school that they grew to love and stand up for in times of trouble. They would never again have to try and cram their books, coats, gym clothes, and what ever else would fit into the tiny lockers. They would never again have to sit in an open classroom and be disrupted by other classes and the latest action going on out in the halls. Finally, they would never again have to hear someone say May l see your pass? Ccontinued on page 2465 Sr. Todd Jaquith shows off his costume for the Annual Slob Contest , Closing 245

Ccontinued on page 2455 As Sr. Suzanne Fritz said, This year was my most unique and fun year, and thats what made it so special . lt was definately a year for winning. All the troubles we went through to keep up our grades, while chasing that someone spe- cial would never be forgotten. They would be kept inside us as terrific memo- ries. Memories to be shared and relived when we were again reunited with our friends, for years and years to come.
