This years yearbook is the best ever in terms of style and graphics , quoted '84 Olympiad Editor Suzanne Fritz. Time, effort, and teamwork summed up the days in putting togeth- er the yearbook. Teamwork, advisor Ed Wright said, is the key to produc- ing a quality yearbook . The yearbook staff had indeed more teamwork this year, but was not without its problems. Late deadlines due to lack of pictures were common. On most deadlines we had all layouts, and copy done a week early, but would come up with empty excuses by photographers when we asked for pictures , were Suzanne Fritz's thoughts. Another problem this year was the fight over the use of the Olympic rings. We sent in some pages with the rings on them. Jostens, our publishers, wouldn't print the material unless we received permission from the Olympic committee. They turned us down, but we fought and won. The Olympic rings and name Olympians could be used until l986. The Yearbook staff met daily during 6th hour, and put in extra hours some weekends. Ev- eryone on the staff received an elec- tive credit and grade for the class. Grades were based on the work done for each deadline and if the deadlines were indeed met. Suzanne Fritz summed up the year with these feel- ings, Its been a challanging and fun year, alot of hard work has been put in, and l'm sure l've made many enemies. lndi viduals 225
