Ibcky L-Ylfloun tain qligh Big Horn Sheep are a part of Colorados numerous wildlife. On A Clear Day, You Can See Forever We were fortunate enough to live in one of the most goregous states in the country. Colorado was appealing to ev- eryone because of its colors and gore- gous mountains. It was always so easy to skip a day and take a trip to the high country for a picnic at Red Rocks or shopping in Central' City. In the summer, Colorado provided us with beautiful days and warm, star- ry nights. The concerts at Red Rocks always provided a great evening after spending the day in the sun, picnicing and waiting for the concert to begin. If concerts and sunburn weren't your style, there was always shopping in the mountains and the Alpine slides at Heritage Square, Winter Park, or Breckenridge. Fall kept us busy with the Bronco games and watching the Aspens turn. Once winter came along, we were all excited because the ski season was upon us. Colorado had about the best skiing around. Vail, Keystone, Winter Park, Aspen, and Breckenridge were among the favorites. The ski club pro- vided us with discount rates and a full day of fun. Those who preferred the city life could enjoy shopping down- town or ice skating at the May DEF ice rink. The l6th Street mall provided us with great shopping and friendly mer- chants. 3 1 Flowers on the l6th Street Mall help decorate the newly built mall, I5 Rocky Mountain High But no matter how you enjoyed Colorado the most, the warm, summer nights, or the cold, snowy winters, it was a beautiful state that everyone loved.
