Red Rocks provides a great line up of concerts each summer that many students enjoy, 4? : ,Vs 'fx 4 n Wx- 'X 3. Summertime. A time when everyone threw away their books and headed to Creek or to a nearby swimming pool. The fireworks on the fourth of July brought out the patriotism in all of us. The mountains were also popular places for swimming, camping, picnicing, playing frisbee, or just relaxing. Vacations often took students to sunny, far away places. Jr. Ann Ramierz said, Summer is the best time of year because of the concerts, the guys, and the new friends. Some of the favorite concerts of the summer were The B-52's, The Producers, The Fixx, and LD. Normans, a 3.2 bar and dance place, provided a new hang out because they hosted a very popular teen night on Thursdays. The cheerleaders and Pom Pons spent their summer, effort, and time at camps, perfecting their routines and cheers. Some people also spent their time in summer school, earning credits to- ward graduation. Soph. Diane Quintana said, The best part of summer means that school is out, but when we graduate it will be over and we'll miss lt.
