Everyday in the news we heard about individuals who made a difference in the world we live in, like Pope John Paul ll, who Principal Dr. Richard Sharkey described as, A man who is a moral influence throughout the whole world. We heard about President Jimmy Carter, Congressperson, Pat Schroeder, Governor Dick Lamm and Mayor Bill McNichols, people who made a difference in our nation and local politics. As a volunteer, William C. Hinkley, has made a difference with the State High School Track Team, and Harold Dunning, Director of the Aurora Technical Center, received the Out- standing Citizen Award in Aurora . . .
