FPS SIE EJ AC TIVITIES The freshszen were really shaking in their boots October ll, the day be- fore initizztioea, a day dreaded as much as Sadie Hawkins Day, the day the Sovwhs would get their long-waited-for revenge against the underdog. Most of us took it like good sgvorts, 'out down deep inside us burns a revenge that 1-:on't Jo out ugztil re ourselves have initiated a group. The people who were officially initiated are: Darlene Cole, Juanita 'Ihomas, Louise Drew, Patty itexrart, :Dose Mason, Verna Yann, Elmer Bilyeu, Gordon Devine, John Barnhardt, Allan Vail, Eddie Ddtler, Danny Evans, and Philip Hayward, Rose Ilason moved to Salem in the latter pa t of Novanber and in early December Louise Drew moved to Independence, and at the same time Verna Yawn moved to Fresno, California. Class officers elected early in the year were: John Barnhardt, Pres- ident, JoAnn ifood, Vice President, Allan Vail, Secretary, Patty Stewart, class representative, Danny Evans, Sergeant-at-arms. Gordon Devine, John Barnhwrdt, Allan Vail, Eddie Butler, and Danny Evans were all active members of Gates Hi Jay Vees. Gordon, John, and Allan had a little activity on the Varsity squad.
