She was educated at Auburn High School and Kentucky Western at Bowling Green, Kentucky. Having recognized her ability, Roanoke Rapids City School employed her the first year she was out of college--1929-1930. She met the delightful gentlemen of her heart, Mr. J. C. Hoyle, at Roanoke Rapids and married him August 20, 1932. They have one son, Jim Jr., who is a freshman at Roanoke Rapids High School. Frances, as she is known by her friends, has been at Gaston School for seven years, serving as commercial teacher. Her extra curricular activities include the sponsor of the annual and the school counselor. Mrs. Hoyle, by her example of fairness, honesty, and integrity, is a living example of Christianity.
