SENIOR CLASS HISTORY We started our Freshran year off wlth a bang There were 19 of us when we started, but one by one our classmates dropped out untll there were only 14 of us left The 1n1t1at1on was really the blg axfalr of the year for us, but oh' we were really sore Our Sophomore year I6 helped the Juniors and Seniors init1ate the Freshmen. Thls was even more fun than be1ng lnltiated We were learnlng fast Thls year a few of the glrls made the team ln volleyball Here we are Junlors Our year was spent 1n work and play glT1S took part 1n the Senlor play We gave the Senlors a very the close of the year The year ended wlth the Senlor farewell everyone had the most enjoyable tlne of the entlre year Ah' at last, we are 'mlghty Senlors ' Ve really made the We took part ln almost every actlvlty that was presented 1n our hlgh school We had a very successful Senlor play Wlth lots of F1ve of our n1ce banquet at party at whlch most of th1 year. fourth year of fun for everyone CI thlnk Mlss Wray engoyed lt too, even 1f she d1d get a blt annoyed with us at tlmesl Then came our sneak day What fun' We headed for Pockaway but because lt was so cold on tk beach and nothlng for us to do, that we headed for Seaslde We had loads of fun 1n Seaslde ie went through the acquarlum, fed the sea 11OnS, and ended up down on the beach dlgglng clams for all we were worth The the digglng whlle the glrls stamped around to leap warm and offered what could We flnlshed the day off by seelng the Portla1d Beavers uln thclr 8 to O Cheedloss to say after all the smoked sla1on, llppered salmon, potato chlps, doughnuts, popcorn, hot dogs, etc , etc , no one mcntloned any place for a meal that CVCU1Dg I boys did help they ball game nuts, stopplng The tlme has come for us to leave Gaston H1 Wlth a lump 1n our throats we say farewell to our classmates, lower classmen, and teachers .
