CLASS PROPHECY While sitting reading the evening newspaper I happened upon an article written by the great Professor Noalski. His article read, Ulf you wish to look up friends you have not contacted for many years, come to see Professor Noalski at the sign of the Golden Hammor.nI thought this over care- fully and decided to see him the next morning. As I walked into the office I heard a jolly laugh which took me back to ny school days, so I was not surprised to see that the Professor was the ruler of my high school days. He had invented a magic screen that showed him a clear picture of the future. Having invented this magic screen he no longer wished to keep his common name so he had changed it to nNoalskin, while his trade mark was the sign of the nGolden Hammeru. We went into his laboratory and stood in front of a large screen. The Professor asked me with whom I would like to get in contact. I explained that I wanted to find out what each of my classmates was doing. We started with Grace Tacholsky. Professor Noalski snapped a few switches and pressed a few buttons and soon I could see, coming on the an opera house. Seated at Grace, and coming onto the screen, a platform. It was in the piano was our old friend stage, after much applauding, was the great operatic singer, Mildred Campbell. This took care of two of my classmates in one jump. The next person I thought of was Bettie Ober. She had always been so lively that I wondered what she was doing now. We saw coming upon the screen a calm peaceful farm scene. Standing in the doorway of a small house was Bettie Ober Q?J bidding her husband good-bye as he left for his work in the woods. I turned to the Professor and said, UI hope they are very happy.H Looking again at the picture on the screen, I saw a pair of twin boys sticking their heads out of a window.c NI guess she is,N replied the Professor. Turning the switch again we saw a small country school house. Seated on the front row are a young girl and her husband. Peeking over their shoulders we can just make out from the program that the next number is the two Zinn children singing NBell Bottom Treusers,U Who else could it be but Lorine Lee and family? If

Class Prophecy--Continued Professor Nonlski finally said, uAnd what about Doris Reed and Mary King?' I told him that Doris, Mary, and I CBetty ' Flonnorl had kept together after our high school days and that Doris and I were now living together raising pedigreed cats while Mary tours the country giving inspirational lectures on our famous cats. WWel1,N I said, HI guess that is all of them.u We said good-bye and I loft for it was almost lunch time and I didn't want my poor cats to get hungry. Q
