CLASS PROPHECY As we three learned prophets climb into our huge space ship which will take us into the World of Tomorrow, we gaze with rapture on the scenes that are past and have profound hopes for that which is to come. We land in the glorious future and are carried to the Theater of Tomorrow in a luxurious limousine of the most modern vintage, We enter the theater and are seated before the screen. Suddenly there flashes before us a vision of Wayne Peckham's mar- velous school, which specializes in the nlight fantastic.U The door to the dancing studio is pushed open violently and a young man storms in carrying a sample case filled with a famous brand of cosmetics. The young man is none other than Glenn Meredith who has been voted the most valuable and voluble sales- mand of 1960. This picture fades and we see a crowded street corner. In the center cf the crowd we see and hear Lucille Epling, now president of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, trying to convert young people to her views which seem to have changed some- what g ' When we had recovered from this shock sufficiently, we beheld a beautiful forest and hill. A cabin appearedg the door opened, and the occupant was revealed. She was sitting on a stool , her bare feet on a barrel, smoking a corn-cob pipe. She turns to us--Mary Koberstein!! The scene changes. Before us is a magnificent concert hall. We are awed by the sound of inspiring music directed by Maestro Howard Bangs whose waving auburn locks are whipped about violently through his efforts and the love of music. Next we see a little white cottage within the city limits. We see a beautiful blond woman sur- rounded by five adorable little children all weeping bitterly, It is the former Wanda Flett, recently deserted by her husband, Everett Lee, who has gone to take up his lifelong ambition of becoming an undertaking
