The PTA officers of '58-'59-Mrs. R. J. Costlow, Historian, Mrs. G. S. Rom- berg, President, Mrs. D. L. Thomas, Vice-President, Mrs. J. W. Smith, Par- liamentariang and Mrs. John Chevallier, Treasurei'-discuss their plans for the coming year. When the Gaston PTA Executive Committee met this year, they set as their goals to pay off the debt on the fans which were bought last year and to reach a membership of 200. These goals have been attained. Their budget drawn up for the year was around 8400.00 After paying the outstanding indebted- ness, the club gave S75 to the GFSHER and paid the FHA girls for keeping the children during PTA meetings. Mrs. Josephine Jenkins was allotted 350.00 at the beginning of the school term for Medical Aid and Clothing.
