It is evidenced by the administration, in the classrooms, on the football field, on the cam- pus, by the patrons of the community, and in every other phase of school life. It is the de- sire of the staff, in presenting THE GASTON GUSHER of 1959, to portray the seven qualities which we believe make up the spirit of our school. Administration School Life Who's Who Athletics Organizations Classes Advertisements IIIGH SCHOOL BUILDING The spirit of unity and leadership is exemplified by the administration. The board of education, the superintendent, the princi- pals, and the faculty unify and coordinate the entire school program in a manner comparable to that of the captain of a ship who is careful to see that all goes well. These goals have been attained. Their budget drawn up for the year was around 8400.00 After paying the outstanding indebted- ness, the club gave S75 to the GFSHER and paid the FHA girls for keeping the children during PTA meetings. Mrs. Josephine Jenkins was allotted 350.00 at the beginning of the school term for Medical Aid and Clothing. Without the fine civic spirit of the patrons of our commu- nity, the production of a year- book such as THE GASTON GUSHER would be all but impossible. -The support of the businessmen enables us to have a larger and more attractive annual. At the same time, the advertisements are profitable to our friends in the business world.
