Dedication Spirit is not possessed. Spirit is a restless, driving force that cannot be contained in one field. And when it dwells in a person, an in- tangible aura of uniqueness can be felt around them. They are able to move through a spectrum of ideas and events beyond the experience of ordinary people. Those with Spirit have feeling for many things. One of the heralds of the college motto, one of the leaders in the advance on knowledge and life, one of the counsels in the struggle to help us know ourselves has been Dr. Charles Wimmer.
