John T. Caldwell B.S., M.A., Ph.D. Chancellor North Carolina State of the University of North Carolina at Raleigh. Since 1945, North Carolina State University at Raleigh has operated a Technical Institute; first at Morehead City and later, in 1952, that facility was moved to Gastonia. In 1957, it was made a division of the School of Engineering of North Carolina State, un- der whose guidance it has continued to the present. The Gaston Technical Institute offers four curricula in engineering technology, each of which is accredited by the Engineers’ Council for Professional Development. ’Tm sure no human heart goes wrong That’s told ”Good-by--God bless you!” 1 2 E.
