TRACK QUEEN Each year it is customary for the students of G.C.H.S. to elect a track queen and court. Eleven candidates competed for the honor this year. The students, under the direction of the Student Council, voted by secret ballot and elected Marjorie Eubank our Track Queen of 1948. Marjorie served on the queen's court in 47 . The four girls who received the next highest number of votes, be- came the queen,s court. They were as follows: Toni Miitsch fseniorj, Laqueita Smith fseniorj, Marilyn Street Cseniorj, and Marion Manor Cjuniorj . The coronation dance was held April 9, 1948, in the high school gymnasium. The gym was brightly decorated with crepe paper streamers. The Queen and her court were seated on a gaily decorated platform in front of the stage. After the crowning of the Queen, she and her court were led in a dance by their escorts through aisles made by hurdles. The coronation was followed by a semi-formal dance, which every- one enjoyed thoroughly. S0

They tell their wives that they need the money to get their Aunt Nellie and Felix out of trouble. You can imagine the excitement when Jerry dresses like Aunt Nellie and Felix. Jerry , who wants to marry Sheila, proves his acting ability through these impersonations. In the end he wins Sheila and a new house. 51
