Herhei McClure and Charlotte Fanning are married and own the targest chain of dairies in this country. HJim,' Beckley, our High Schoot ucasanovan has ioecome a great comedian and can he heard every Sunday night on the 'Forever Yours!! program. 'Roscoe Johnson is now a rotier skating exhihitionist and 'holds the National Championship. Mildred Berry is working on the Vogue staff and is quite a fashion cri-tic. Joan McKee has taken Eveiyn's place on the Hour of Charm, and is wideiy known for her compositions and arrangement of music. Dick Fischer is now head of the international Airways of America. Paul Turner is now tiving in Gas City and is Athletic Director of the Owens Iliinois. Marjorie Troxeii and Maurigq Rhoday are married and in San Diego, Catifornia. Ntaurice iiked the Navy so weti, he remained in service after the war. Jack Howeii is setting helicopters and has a iarge corporation in Chicago. Patty Miiier, foiiowing graduation, 'hecome a iaasterioiogist. She has done marvelous work, in curing infantile paraiysis. Marjorie Hogston received quite a shock which caused 'her to grow a foot taller, and is now a glamorous Powers modei. Marigene Weaver, now ioetter known as Madame Fifi, has a very exctusive dress shop in New York 'City and is known for her exquisite fashion designs. Betty Rose Swisher is singing at the Metropoiitan Opera House. Attred Vvehh, indianags best Senator, entered a new 'hiii in COHQTCSS-' 'SHOW 'to get Roosevelt out of ofiicef, Jim Leach now has traveled ati over the United States and Europe with a ioaiiet troop. Last year he and his 'troop gave a command performance before the King of England. Johnnie O'Brien, is a Boogie Woogie music director and composer, and is reaiiy a solid senderf, Don Draper, present Dean of Harvard University, is planning to make the University co-educational. Mildred Vvhyiiorew, is a famous surreaiist artist. Some of her paintings are hanging in the Paris Art Museum. Page Fifteen John Atkinson is catcher for -the St. Louis Cardinals. Dick Nelson is Sinatra the second, everyone just swoons at his HIIII be Sueing You. Wilma Manor has an antique shop, which contains many rare and beautiful objects. Richard Lostutter, became a Iion 'tamer for Barnum 5' Bailey Circus, and enchants the Iions by his weird and magical playing oi his clarinet. Bill Maynard, the coach of G. C. H. S., married -the daughter of a home- town merchant. Don Arthur has become an X-ray technician. IReaIIy an inside job.i Dorothy Vvheeler and Priscilla Ancil are sponsoring youth canteens aII over the country. Ralph Barton is an explorer and discovered the Iost treasurer of the Incas. Mabel Atkinson is an actress, famous for her character impersonations. Teddy Tavenner is now a star of the big top. She is the only trapeze artist in the world who can make 'live somersaults in one jump. And by the way, did you know you were reading the writings of a ghost. Septemher 6 began the season, with the Gas City-Jonesboro game in which the Tigers defeated the Zeihras in a score ot 10-6. The Tigers tootc Sweetser for a toss ot 20-7 on September 15, at the Gwens ball tietd. At the Gas City-Van 'Buren game, September 15, Gas City hetd Van Buren 11-0 untit the tast half of the seventh. Gass 'City made their 'onty error in the tast inning matting the 'tinat score 21-4. The Swayzee Speecttcings ptayed the Tigers September 20. After a hard tight the Tigers remained on top with a score ot 20-4. The Fairmount Quakers were the next team to ptay Gas City September 27, and Went home with the score 20-5 in favor ot Gas City. On Qctoher 2, the Tigers won the County 'Championship from the Jefferson Yeomen with the score 6-0. The game tasted onty three and a hatt innings and was catted oft because ot the 'heavy rain. The addresses were delivered hy Superintendent A. J. Reifei. PAPER COLLECTIONS THE Physical Education Director, Wilbur S. The sate of this paper has heen a material heip in the promotion of recrea- tion, during horth the -winter and summer months. SKATING PARTIES EVERY two weeks skating parties are conducted under the supervision of the Physical Education Director, Wilbur Cummins, and Principal F. VV. Hengstier.
