A long to be remembered night. The Sen- iors had a Carnival and Box Social. It was a wonderful success. Everyone had a good time. Those who did not take part in the activities sat on the bleachers and watched the fun. Mr. Puckett was the auetioneer for the evening. .-Xfter the boxes were sold, a popularity contest was held. This proved very exciting, for there were several popular high school girls nominated. Geraldine Stevens won the contest, bringing' in something' like 51100. Next was a lazy 11'l21l1'S contest: Mr. Brophy was elected the laziest man in Gas City. or maybe it was Grant County. During' the course of the evening' the guests visited the ditterent booths in the .'Xl1fllfUl'lll11l. The lishing pond proved interesting, also the fortune teller. The hot dog stand was not allowed lo get cold either. while the ancient means of travel and the llnla-hula dancer were quite popular, too.
