THE EPOCH l-I-Sophomore Class in charge of Convocation to-day. A play, The Nirth- Provoking Schoolroonf' was presented. It was mirth-provoking. Ask anyone. lH-The Civics class, under the direction of Mr. Alcllargue, attended a theatre party in Room -l this afternoon. Everyone seemed to enjoy himself. Zo-Junior Class play XYhen a Feller Needs a Friend is to be given to- nightg better not miss it. You will want to see Ralph Atkinson's trous- ers. 27-Seniors won Track Meet. l-lurrah for the Seniors! Z9-Spring vacation of two days. A PRI L 3-Splendid talk given this morning' by Mr. Strauss from Sonsa's Band. 5--Gas City was represented in the County Mnsicale by the Girls' Glee Club and the Orchestra. S-Banner presented to the Senior Class for winning Inter-Class Track Meet. Reports given of Clean-up NYeek. Over four tons of paper sold. U-State Librarian here to help us get our library in good condition. Doe-sn't it look nice now? 12-Freshmen in charge of Convocation to-day.. Literary Tanglef' a negro dialogue and a reading were given, much to the delight of all. 15-XYake up, -lanies. class is over. 16-Biddle teaching school? XYhat next? Q 17-lllr. Carmony's birthday to-day. XYonder how old he is? l9--Pupils of the XYest XYard gave a minstrel. It was a dandy. 20-Commercial Contest, at Marion to-day. The Advanced Shorthand team from Gas City took second place in this event. The team was com- osed ofi tieneva XYalker, Mildred Jeffrey, and Helen Atkinson.
